if you like my poems let them
by E. E. Cummings

if you like my poems let them
walk in the evening,a little behind you

then people will say
"Along this road i saw a princess pass
on her way to meet her lover(it was
toward nightfall)with tall and ignorant servants."

A. The point of view is first person and the speaker is the poet, E.E. Cummings.

B. The situation is someone is walking down the street and sees Cummings poems and they are so wonderful he describes them as a princess on her way to meet her lover.

C.The main theme of the poem is conveyed by the poet, Cummings, who is trying to say you should accept his poems because they will follow you anyways.

D."if you like my poems let them walk in the evening,a little behind you"
This alliteration is significant because it gives the poems the ability to walk. It makes it so the poems can follow you and you cannot escape them.
